The Atlas trailed now available with “Smart Control Pro” which is our advanced sprayer control system which can be individually programmed to suit each farmers individual requirements. The operator is in total control via a 10” colour “touch” screen terminal and multifunction joystick and control pod. The powerful processors can offer so much for example in addition to controlling the sprayer auto application rate via pressure and flow sensors and one touch auto boom fold, DGPS switching of the standard seven spray sections or individual nozzle control it can control tractor auto steer and at the same time operate a trailed sprayer steering axle.

Although complemented by Smart Control Pro the Atlas trailed already has a stylish design which provides one of the lowest centres of gravity in its class enabling a 4400-litre capacity without compromising stability. The heavy-duty steering axle has both leaf-spring and air-bag suspension to further enhance stability both on the road and in the field. The steering axle is controlled by a technically advanced steering sensors and a machine slope sensor ensure accurate steering and minimum headland damage and safe manoeuvrability. The “Series 3” boom offers widths out to 28m and all boom movements are controlled by electro hydraulics via operators joystick/control pod. The “Series 3” boom can be folded and operated at half width (e.g 24m boom fold to 12m). Nozzles and stainless-steel spray lines are fully protected within the boom structure, and a multi-directional 2m break away tip protects against accidental damage. The boom also has tilt correction and boom lock and independent variable geometry as standard features and independent outer boom fold can be specified as an option. Booms are manufactured using a highly durable “lattice style” construction from 3mm & 5mm thick high tensile steel which is then treated with a protective oven baked powder coat finish. The “3D” active suspension system controls boom bounce, incline and yaw providing a very stable platform for the spray nozzles, the bounce suspension remains active when the boom is in its transport position, protecting the boom when travelling over rough farm tracks and roads. All moving hinge points have greasable bearings and bushes for long, trouble free life. Simple to use fill controls and all the latest safety features are provided as standard as is auto re-circulation prime and purge system, 300lt/min pump, LED road lighting, along with a three-year construction warranty.
